Working together to bring the gospel
Uniting to bring the gospel to a local high school
During the 2024-2025 school year we were privileged to be a part of uniting high school students from 7 churches and ministries to run Alpha Youth in their public high school after hours. This included training students to lead Alpha and raising the funds for some incredible meals.
For the 2025-2026 school year —the students are uniting in prayer twice monthly and in declaring that “Jesus Won,” and are being equipped and encouraged to share Jesus with their peers and invite them to the Alpha Youth the students are hosting. The Unity Hope Project will be providing coaching for those students and providing the meals and also working with the youth pastors to provide solid follow-up for the still seeking and new believers.
The goal is first and foremost to see students come to know Christ and to see other churches and ministries in other parts of NE Ohio unite to bring the gospel in their schools as they see a working model.
Uniting to “Adopt a Unit” at Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility
Both with Alpha and now as The Unity Hope Project, teams have continued to go into Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility to bring the good news of Jesus and His love and forgiveness.
Those efforts have “morphed” into the “Adopt a Unit” project where a team of men from various churches and ministries will, in early 2026, work with the youth there to build relationally with them, help them develop life skills and goals using the TOPUCU curriculum, share Christ using Alpha Youth, and working to build biblically centered young men.
Along with connecting with the young men we will be providing great meals each time we go in and gifts for Christmas and other occasions.
Mentoring Opportunities
The Unity Hope Project works with True Freedom Ministries and Youth for Christ Juvenile Justice Ministries to identify individuals who are interested in working with and mentoring incarcerated and recently released youth and adults. If you’d like to mentor a youth or an adult —please fill out a form so we can gather a little information.
